All the ingredients are recommended as protectants (Vaseline), substances with astringent and adsorbent effect (zinc oxide and talc), occlusives and greasers (petrolatum, lanolin, liquid paraffin) that its hydrophobicity prevent close contact constituents of urine, sweat and feces from soft and delicate skin babies.
In addition, fatty substances in the formulation of preparations, their occlusive effect allow for preserving and repairing poorly developed skin barrier (in babies in the phase of constitution).

Koristi se za svakodnevnu negu i zaštitu kože bebe u cilju sprečavanja kontakata sa iritansima u urinu, fecesu i znoju.
Svi sastojci se preporučuju kao protektanti (vazelin), supstance sa adstringentnim i adsorbentnim efektom (cink oksid i talk), okluzivi i zamašćivači (vazelin, lanolin, tečni parafin) koji svojom hidrofobnošću sprečavaju blizak kontakt sastojaka urina, znoja i fecesa sa nežnom i osetljivom kožom bebe.
Pored toga masne materije u formulaciji preparata, svojim okluzivnim efektom omogućavaju očuvanje i repariranje slabo razvijene kožne barijere (kod beba u fazi konstituisanja).
Na ovaj način ovi okluzivi smanjuju TEWL (transepidermalni  gubitak vode) iz kože, tj. usporavaju njeno isušivanje i time indirektno kožu vlaže iznutra.
Aktivna komponenta bisabolol ima antinflamatorno, umirujuće i blago antiseptično delovanje na osetljivu kožu beba.
